  • Only individuals who normally reside in Ontario may contribute. Corporations, trade unions, clubs and associations cannot contribute.
  • The maximum contribution to one candidate is $1,200. The total maximum to candidates running for the same council is $5,000.
  • Contributions must come directly from the contributor. Contributions are not tax-deductible.
  • If your total contributions exceed $100, your name and address will appear on the campaign’s public financial statement.
